Successful bilateral meeting with the Estonian Patent Office at HIPO

On 27 November 2025, the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) had the pleasure of welcoming Ms Janne Andresoo, Director General of the Estonian Patent Office, on her first visit to HIPO since taking up her position, together with her delegation. The guests were received by Szabolcs Farkas, President of HIPO.

During the meeting, the parties had the chance to exchange views on how the offices manage daily operations and explore ways to enhance them, drawing inspiration from each other’s best practices and current developments.

They also shared their experiences on the operation of the intellectual property ecosystem, the legal environment, the digitalization developments, and discussed raising awareness activities and issues related to copyright.

The Director of the Visegrad Patent Institute also participated in the meeting and shared insights into its work and services offering.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the already excellent relationship between the two offices and confirmed their commitment to continue their cooperation in the future.
